Important Information

NON-SOUTH AFRICAN RESIDENTS
Non-South African Students ensure the payment is made timeously to reflect proof of payment. Students are advised to apply for their visa well in advance to avoid disappointment. Non-South African residents are permitted to apply for a Payment term. 

All applicants please note: The application fee payable with your application is not a deposit and does not secure accommodation. The application fee is non-refundable.

BURSARY HOLDERS
We require a letter from the bursar confirming the full Rand value of the bursary awarded, the date of disbursement and to whom the payment will be made. Please provide us with a letter to this effect. If you are receiving a bursary where the accommodation portion is less than our rental for the room type/building applied for, the shortfall must be paid by the parent/guarantor. The parent/guarantor’s financials (3 months bank statements to show proof of affordability) is to be emailed to MySpace.

NON-BURSARY HOLDERS (SOUTH AFRICAN RESIDENTS ONLY)
Applicant/ Guarantor must provide proof of affordability in the form of 3 months bank statements of the person responsible for the rental account. Further financials will be requested if required by MySpace. 

WE REQUIRE A COPY OF:

• Applicant’s ID or passport
• Guarantor’s ID or passport, proof of residence and three months bank statements
• Proof of provisional acceptance/acceptance/registration at a tertiary academic institute
• Confirmation of bursary letter as mentioned above (if applicable)
